Exempt?

You may be exempt from dental charges if you receive certain types of benefits. Please ask at reception for details and bring any evidence of benefits that you may claim. Note - not all benefits entitle you to free dental treatment.

Estimates

We are happy to go through your treatment option plans and costs and provide you with a written quotation if requested. Please note that options and costs can vary and alter as treatments progress.

Payments

We respectfully request that payment for any treatment is made in advance or at least on the day of treatment. More complex work or treatments involving laboratory charges may require payments to be made in advance of appointments. Please do not be offended when asked to pay for your treatment at every visit.

Failed Appointments

We are a very small practice and appointment waiting times are increasing. Patients who fail to attend their appointments will increase waiting times for everyone. We now offer a text reminder service so please make sure we have your preferred mobile number to allow for this service.

We also have a policy to charge patients for missed appointments. Please do not be offended if you fail an appointment and are subsequently charged for the wasted surgery time.

Tooth Exam

Cancellations

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may also incur a fee. If you need to cancel your appointment  please give as much notice as possible.

Those patients who continue to fail appointments, cancel repeatedly at short notice or who fail to clear accounts are liable to be deregistered from the practice.
